Scenic Route
To reach the hotel from Heredia downtown, visitors should take the road towards Vara Blanca. The journey takes about 2 hours total. Taking the road to Barva Volcano, you enter the Tropical Biological Reserve of Vara Blanca towards Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. The landscape has a unique charm which combines extensive patches of forest with agricultural and agro-industrial areas. It is common to see pineapple fields and fruit trees along the road, plus beautiful mountain scenery.
The way to reach the hotel from San Carlos downtown is the longest of the three routes. Taking the road to the city of Alajuela, by Bernardo Cañas highway to the town of Naranjo, visitors must continue along the road to Ciudad Quesada, through the towns of Aguas Zarcas and Rio Cuarto to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. You can also take the old road that passes through the towns of Sarchi and Zarcero before going to Aguas Zarcas to finally reach Puerto Viejo.
